I Have Always Loved the Ocean

I was pouring through a stack of old photos the other day when I found this cute picture of me - I would say about age 2. In the background is the ocean, I would have to double check with my mom but I am fairly certain its the Great Barrier Reef. I have always loved the ocean, the water, the waves. I also love the sun. A little too much I think.

As I look at holiday snaps over the years there has been a consistent pattern of beaches, swimming pools, sunscreen, sand and cocktails (after age 18 of course). With this in mind, it appears quite logical to me that I would want to live in a place like Hawaii that offers this type of lifestyle every day of the year.

It is supposed to be in the 60's and sunny today in Seattle - better than rain I suppose, but nothing like my many memorable vacations at the beach, and my brief stint of living in Hawaii. Lets hope that Hawaii is back on the horizon soon, 60 degrees just doesn't cut it!

I love it! You are a beach baby for sure... I was born on the Oregon Coast (a bit colder, but the ocean nonetheless) and can appreciate your love for the sea. Hoping to plan a Hawaii trip down the road… and will def. be using your sight for helpful pointers to ensure we have a wonderful trip. :)
